Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team. As an ESL Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by helping them develop their English language skills. This is a rewarding position that requires strong communication and teaching abilities. Responsibilities: - Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives - Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening - Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students - Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment - Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain student engagement and discipline - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success - Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into lessons - Provide tutoring and additional support to students as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field - Teaching certification or ESL certification preferred - Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs - Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus - Experience in tutoring or mentoring students is beneficial - Familiarity with library services and resources for language learners is a plus - Proficiency in proofreading written work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors - Basic math skills for instructional purposes We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
